Both the search bar and the tags listed on the left (e.g. Functional Medicine General Files) influence the results you will see. If there are no overlapping results in the search terms and tags you have selected, you may want to widen your search. You can do this by clicking on "[CLEAR]" in the tag category you were previously browsing and/or by deleting the text you had typed in the "Search" field and beginning a new search.

+ I am having trouble running the Introduction to Functional Nutrition course on my iPad/iPhone/mobile device. What should I do?
For optimal performance, we recommend that this course be experienced on a laptop or desktop computer rather than a mobile device. Refer to our eLearning guide for more information.
+ How can I download an IFM video or audio to watch offline on my iPad?
Unfortunately, this is not possible in mobile Safari on the iPad. You can download an external app called Azul (not free) from the App Store, but, as this is not IFM software, we cannot offer support.
Apple recommends using a laptop or desktop computer in conjunction with your iPad. First, open the link you wish to watch later in your preferred web browser on your computer. Next, download the video to your computer and add it to iTunes.
Connect your iPad and computer with the USB cable and then sync. This will transfer the video file to your iPad. Disconnect the device, and you will now be able to watch the video offline.
For more information on accessing materials on your iPad, please refer to our tablet technology frequently asked questions document.
+ How can I save program materials and Toolkit files (PDF, DOC, MP3) to my iPad?
Open the IFM website in Safari on your iPad and log in to your account. To access your program materials, click on "My Education" on the orange navigation bar. Within "My Enrollments" or "My Past Enrollments," launch the program materials you wish to download. These will open in a new tab.
To download a PDF or DOC file, tap on the screen once the document has opened. "Open in iBooks" and "Open in..." will appear as options on the top right of your screen, just below the address bar and tabs. Tap on "Open in iBooks" and you will be able to view the file in the iBooks app.
These instructions apply to PDFs on the IFM Toolkit resources as well. Within the Toolkit, tap on "Get Document" below the name of the file you wish to save. This will open the file in a new tab. Once it loads, tap on the screen, then the "Open in iBooks" option, and it will open in iBooks.
MP3 and MP4 files cannot be downloaded directly to your iPad. Apple recommends using a desktop or laptop computer in conjunction with your tablet.
For more information on accessing materials on your iPad, please refer to our tablet technology frequently asked questions document.
+ I launched the Functional Nutrition eLearning course on my Mac using Google Chrome and the video plays, but there is no sound. What should I do?
First, we recommend that you clear your browser's cache. To clear your cache in Chrome, click on the drop-down menu (three horizontal lines to the right of your address bar) and select "History." Click on the "Clear browsing data..." button that appears on the top left above your browsing history. A menu will pop up allowing you to specify what data you want to delete. Make sure that "Browsing history," "Download history," "Cookies and other site and plug-in data," and "Cached images and files" are checked, then click the "Clear browsing data" button at the bottom of the menu.
Next, re-launch "Introduction to Functional Nutrition" by returning to the IFM website, logging in and accessing the course within the "My Education" tab.
If the problem with sound persists, please contact our tech support team directly by emailing support@digitalignite.com. You may also wish to try running the course on a different browser, such as Firefox.
